The summer squash packs a 3-way punch:
a) early female blossoms are great in salads, stuffed, roasted, or fried;
b) young stems, with strings removed, are fantastic in salads or stuffed with cheeses; and,
c) young leaves (before nettles grow on underside) rival grape leaves for fantastic meals.
All in all, a garden must-have!
Yum, we love summer squash at our house :)
